Our Founder and Legal Director, Victoria T. Ferrara, will be available for** 20-minute private "Legal Clinic" sessions **from 10am to 5:30pm. In addition, our on-staff licensed clinical psychologist, Michelle Loris (PhD/PsyD) will be speaking on "**A Mindful Look at Surrogacy—Attitudes and Ethics**." The **private "Legal Clinic" sessions** give attendees the opportunity to ask questions and receive general guidance on specific legal issues relevant to various circumstances. These sessions are not meant to provide formal legal services or serve as substitute for such, but if you're interested in hearing from a leading legal authority in the surrogacy space, Vicki will be available throughout the day to provide expert insight. Sign up during registration, or throughout the day, as long as sessions are still available. In "**A Mindful Look at Surrogacy—Attitudes and Ethics**," Michelle will join a fellow psychologist, a surrogate father (and Executive Director of Men Having Babies), and a surrogate (and Men Having Babies board member) to discuss the meaning and significance people tend to attribute to surrogacy in their lives—specifically from the surrogates' perspective. Other featured panels include: - **Teen Panel: Surrogacy Children of Gay Dads Share Their Stories**. The Family Equality Council’s Outspoken Generation program brings together a group of teenaged children of gay dads to discuss their personal experiences. - **Planning Your Parenting Journey.** Learn more about the major legal, medical and financial considerations of surrogacy. - **Parents/Intended Parents’ Happy Hour. **An evening celebration sponsored by Family Source Consultants at the end of Day 1 (Saturday, June 9). The conference and expo explores surrogacy parenting options in both the U.S. and Canada, featuring practical and personal peer advice and opportunities to meet a wide range of leading providers.   Proceeds from sponsorship and exhibiting fees will benefit the Gay Parenting Assistance Program, which facilitates over $1 million worth of financial support for gay prospective parents each year through cash grants, as well as discounted and free services donated by more than 50 leading IVF, surrogacy, egg donation, and legal service providers. The conference welcomes anyone that can benefit from support in their prospective parenting journey, and offers exclusive one-on-one private consultations with providers—including WSS.
